POLICIES
Brian Mackie’s KarateLIfe reserve the right to make changes to policies from time to time as required.
WAIVER
I the student or parent/guardian accept and understand the risk of studying Karate and hereby releases all instructors of Brian Mackie’s Karate and all other students of the Brian Mackie’s Karate from all liabilities for any type of injuries or loss sustained while training, studying, practicing, or in the application of Karate.
HEALTH
The student or parent/guardian of warrants that the participant is in good physical condition and knows of no reason why they cannot participate in Karate.
MEDIA
The member/guardian/parent/student gives permission to use any photos, pictures, marketing materials to promote Brian Mackie’s Karatelife free of charge, with no promise, representation or expectation of compensation.
HOLIDAY TRAINING
The student or parent/guardian understands that training for Juniors continues during School Holidays in a reduced format in combined classes except for Christmas and New Years week when closed. Membership Fees are calculated to allow for Public Holidays and all other closures.( Fees are calculated as follows for Juniors 4 times Term fees divided by 26 , December and January payments contribute to Term 4 and Term 1 respectively.)
SUSPENSION
Any suspension requested by the member/guardian/parent must be in writing with 2 weeks notice clearly stating reason and dates of absence, when the end date of suspension is reached membership and payments will automatically resume . The minimum suspension period is 2 weeks maximum is 4 weeks (except for Medical ). Suspensions can not be applied retrospectively. An administration fee will be charged at $29 for Suspension requests (except for Medical ).
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation if requested by the member/guardian/parent must be in writing with 2 weeks notice. Cancellations can not be applied retrospectively. An administration fee will be charged at $29 for Cancellations requests for the month of December (except for Medical ).
RETURNING MEMBERS
Returning members will rejoin at the current list price for “NEW STUDENTS” but will not be eligible for any other offers or inducements for “NEW STUDENTS” An administration fee will be charged at $29 for members that rejoin in January/February.

KARATE AUSTRALIA REGISTRATION
All students are required to be registered with the Karate Australia . This is
mandatory for all participants including instructors with the annual subscription fee.
